Vanilla Fleur de Sel is a unique salt that requires from its fans both attention and artistry. Hand-harvested sea salt from France is blended with crushed Tahitian vanilla beans sourced from Tahiti and Papua New Guinea. The mixture is then allowed to infuse in a controlled environment for weeks until ready. The result is a fresh salt with a heady scent of figgy-vanilla.

We love to use this salt on seafood; particularly shrimp, scallops, and more delicate white fish. Paired with a bit of citrus and coconut it’s a rather marvelous thing. In addition, vanilla salt works well on salads and pairs particularly well with beets, carrots, ginger, goat cheese, and tropical fruits such as mango and papaya.
